Three groups received $20,000 each, while the other six received a total of $90,000, the Quad-City Times reports.

Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley, EveryChild, Hand in Hand, Soles for Children, and Testimonies of Hope each received $20,000, while Ballet Quad Cities received $13,312 for a new Marley dance floor in the Alder Theater.

"Nonprofits improve the lives of everyone in our region," says the Community Foundation's grantmaking specialist.
